I wrote my nmom a “detailed” text on all the stuff she has done and thought I was unaware. She has been silent. I told her I would let the world know if she ever tried to disparage me again. Her last message was saying my fraternity from college was turning me against her and it was evil. No amount of facts got through to her that she was the problem. They are delusional. Great part is my non narc family and grandparents adore me.

Can you even imagine how my narc reacted when 3 months after getting married, I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive disease that has no cure. There is a quota on how many times that I'm allowed to ask for help. And that number changes every day.

The only power my Ex had over me was after we got married and I moved into his house. His silent treatment was so intimidating and so humiliating. He was 10yrs older than me and was an emotional/psychological bully. If I attempted to confront him, he told me to leave. I took care of myself, by myself as a single woman and had never felt so vulnerable than when I was married. I am almost in tears thinking about it and that was 20 yrs ago. 1 time. 2 times. I told him if he asked me to leave again, I would never return. I kept my word. Do you know how humiliating it is to find somewhere to stay until your spouse cools off!? Never again. I was so naïve. He was gaslighting me with the "pick-a-fake-fight" routine so I can cheat on my wife. But have her home stressed out and on edge knowing he could do whatever he wanted and just kick me out if I stood up for myself. What a horrible human being I married. No way anyone deserves that kind of treatment.

My mother did everything you stated. I called her out and the devil came out. She told me that I was crazy and I need mental health, Called me a liar, mean and ungrateful because I told her that she never owns up to the things she did or take accountability for he wrong doings. She was full of rage. Her voice got distorted and all.

Haha i had foot surgery and i "dont remember" what happened but i was in a cast and had to get to the bathroom and im pretty sure he pushed me down and i had to crawl. He put me through so much during that time i contemplated my life. Just wanna say its been a year and 2 months that i moved away from him! I have a fiancée who liatens to my stories and is not him...life is good!

That's how my mother sister and brothers are they're selfish, inconsiderate they have bullied, harassed, threatened, verbally abused me and this has been going on for years. I can't get sick or hurt myself sometimes when I do get sick or hurt I don't tell them because of the attack I will get.

When I had my surgery. My husband separated from each other. I was out of work for 4 weeks.he never cook,clean or do laundry. I had to crawl out of bed to cook,clean etc.and waited hand and foot on him.I had stitches and had to becareful not to tare my stitches open.

I do recognize when he was sick he was the biggest baby ever !!! When I’ve been sick he would be absolutely mean !! I had never met anyone this mean before!!! I was sicker then a dog and he was yelling and screaming at me !! No one has ever treated me that ways Ever !!!! He was putting pressure on me to do things for him when I was sick !!! He needed to be left alone when he was sick. I never even treated him like that ever !!! What a mean little shrimp !!! He screwed everything up on purpose !!! Also I had made plans for this guy who does landscaping and helps do things for my dad that he can’t do anymore. He built the fence over there and mowed the grass. He’s a great guy so I paid him to love this antique Victorian love Seat to my place and he did. I couldn’t and believe this guy did this oh who I have been dating !!!!He said he can give me money for the chair but he can’t give me a ride over there !!! That was a very uncomfortable situation and mean thing to do it’s like he needs to keep score on everything!!! He was creating a huge problems for me !!! I said you know I need your help and you won’t help me out. He said your on my time the nerve of him !!’ I didn’t even know what to say other then he did this on purpose to be intentionally mean to me !!!! He wasn’t taking me over there ? Do you see he became unavailable I am sure he did it on purpose!!!! Who in the world would go that far to be petty about something absolutely ridiculous and petty !! I came to the conclusion he is just a very mean person to out me through such nonsense!!! Trying to make EVERYTHING hard on me on purpose!!! He was creating more problems and more drama. I slipped in the tub and broke my shoulder. He refused to take me to the emergency room for 12 hours. It was so painful and resulted in surgery. Four years later, I went to the emergency room by ambulance. My friends sat in a trailer next to the ER for 7 hours because of covid. My former husband never came. I was in ICU for 24 hours, due to extremely low sodium before he ever showed up.This condition was because I had diarrhea for 8 days, due to the stress of the relationship for 18 years. When he came after 24 hours of me being in ICU, he cussed me out for 5 minutes and left. My friends took care of me for 4 days. End of the story I finally realized who I was dealing with. I filed for divorce, have been living healthy and in peace for 2 years!

Speaking from bitter personal experience, I know beyond any shadow of any doubt that sickness (or any other misfortune) will NEVER elicit empathy from a narcissist; in all probability, the narcissist might gloat over your misery or accuse you of being troublesome! Narcissists are evil to the core as far as deficiency in compassion and empathy is concerned.

My ex-husband did just that later said i started it and i had not because a gentleman held the door open for me coming out the store he went off asked the gentleman was he having sex with me i didnt nor ever seen this man in life.

Soo much yes! I fractured my spine when I was with my ex narc. It ended up ending my career. And omg the total lack of empathy! And irritation

It was so hard when he blamed me every time our child was sick...and if i got sick he was so angry. Silent treatment. I would wake up wondering why he was so mad at me every day. Sometimes it was because he didn't like dinner the night before. I decided to divorce him. Love my freedom.

I was choking on a piece of chicken from dinner that him and I had got and brought back to the house to eat I was literally choking he was maybe a foot away from me and just ignored it like it wasn't even happening
